Clinical Trials

The FDA allows companies to conduct human clinical trials following approval of an IND, or Investigational New Drug. This part of the process can take up to several years of animal testing and evaluation before being allowed to inject humans.

SynDevRx is currently conducting the tests necessary for IND submission to the FDA. We expect our drug candidate — Caplostatin™ — to be ready for human clinical trials some time in 2009.
